Robots That Vacuum and Mop
Robots that clean and vacuum offer the convenience of cleaning both dry debris and wet mess in one session, without having to switch devices. They can also save space in comparison to two separate units, particularly in smaller living areas.
A good combination bot will offer excellent navigation and obstacle avoidance. Look for models that have docks that allow them to automatically empty their bins, replenish their water tanks, and wash the mopping pads.
1. Eufy S1 Pro
It has a lot to offer for its low cost and is one of the most simple robots we've tested to install. Unpacking the S1 Pro is simple, and an easy-to-follow guide will have you running with a clean and complete dust bag, a hard floor solution and water tank in no time at all.
The S1 Pro is a powerful small machine that can cleans up a mess and also vacuums well. The mops spin at fast speeds and apply 2.2 pounds (1kg) of force, making short work of dirt, pet hair, and dried sticky spills. The vacuum comes with four power modes, a range of brushes and attachments and a user-friendly application that lets you choose the kind of cleaning you'd like to have for each room.
For instance, you can choose to have the robot take care of a thorough clean-up in the living and kitchen but be careful with the spare bedroom. The S1 Pro has excellent front collision sensors as well as smart navigation technology. It can detect small obstacles that other models cannot. The only issue it has is that it can smash into walls and other objects at a high speed, but an instant glance at the cleaning history in the app tells you exactly what it's doing as well as where it's heading, and which obstacles it's avoided.
A convenient LCD screen on the docking station shows you when maintenance jobs need to be done like emptying the debris tray, and washing the water tank that is dirty. It can also mix detergent into the water tank by itself with a 600ml of eufy solution.
Both the S1 Pro vacuum and mop come with plenty of running time and the mop is able to operate for up to 184 minutes in quiet mode and the vacuum capable of running for 136 minutes in normal mode, before needing to recharge or return to the base to refill. You can view the complete cleaning details within the app, which is intuitively laid out and is easy to comprehend although we would like to be able to distinguish between a vacuum only or mop and vacuum clean when looking at a cleaned area in the cleaning history.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the most recent version of Roborock's top-of-the-line robot vacuum and mop, is the most up-to-date version. Unlike last year's model, this one features two agitators in its mopping pad, which greatly improves carpet cleaning capabilities. The S8 Pro Ultra also has improved suction power, allowing it to pull up small hairs and other particles that other robotic cleaners might overlook.
As with the two other Roborock models I've tested, this one has reactive 3D obstacle avoidance and infrared technology to help it avoid walls, furniture and other obstacles. However, the S8 Pro Ultra takes things a step further by having a dual camera that can recognize objects and determine whether they're a wall or another surface. It can then automatically change its path and clean around the objects without a pause.
It's the most expensive model I've tested and it comes with the most features. Its sleek and angular design is eye catching and only has three physical buttons. The power button, which also resumes the cleaning mop button, which doubles up as a child-lock, and a home-button to send the robot to its dock. Lifting the hinged lid reveals the 350ml dust bin as well as a 200ml water tank. The water tank will empty itself, and the bin is auto-refilling.
The only drawback I could find in this model was the VibraRise mop pads mount isn't movable. While you can swap out the mopping cloth (if it's required) however, it's a hassle to take off the mount for manual washing. I've noticed that any carpet that the robot touches will come into contact with the rough Velcro like fastener system on the mounts, which could cause scratches.
The S8 Pro Ultra has a number of smart features, including support for Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri. You can set up and manage these using the Roborock app, which is also the home of its maps and advanced mopping settings. The app also lets you to schedule cleanings, monitor the life of batteries and maintenance on components. However, you'll need to jump through a few hurdles to allow voice control with this model, which is a shame considering the performance of this model.
3. Dreame X40
The Dreame X40 robot vacuum and mop is a leader in the industry with its innovative features, top suction power, and advanced mopping capabilities. Its innovative design allows for customized and efficient cleaning while saving you time.
The X40 robot vacuum cleaner is the first to feature 12,000 Pascals cleaning power. It is one of the most powerful alternatives available. This powerful vacuum removes dry debris, including pet hair and food particles. It comes with a mop of top quality that cleans hard floors without using pads. In addition the X40 is very quiet during it's operation, producing only occasional bursts of sound when switching modes or completing self-maintenance tasks.
Another notable feature is the X40's extendable and liftable side brush which allows it to get into difficult-to-access corners and clean furniture, such as tables and chairs' legs. The robot is also able to reach under low-profile furnishings, making it an excellent option for apartments with small spaces or condos. The side brush also automatically lowers itself when it spots wet spots. This is a nice feature that helps the X40 keep floors safe from damage caused by excessive back-and-forth movements.
Unlike other robots, which are restricted to a single task, the X40 can vacuum and mop at the same time. It can also be programmed to avoid areas with carpet and mop only hard floors, and vice versa. It can be controlled through the Dreame app or with Alexa, Siri, and Google Home for smooth voice-controlled operation.
The app is simple and simple to use and the X40's intelligent features are a breeze to install. Users can program the X40 to clean at specific times. It is also possible to alter suction power, alter modes, view floor plans and maps, and manage mopping setting. The X40 can also monitor its progress and notify you when it's done.
The X40 is easy to clean and has many convenient features, making it an ideal option for busy families. Its docking station automatically empties the trash bin into a 3.2 L bin, cleans the mop pads, and refills them with clean water and a cleaning solution. robot vacuum cleaner amazon can detect when the mop pad is full and notify you when it gets overflowing, reducing the need for manual maintenance.
4. L20 Ultra

The L20 Ultra robot is one of the most expensive models on the market. It does have many characteristics that make it stand out. Smart DuoScrub is a brand new feature on its mop heads, makes use of two high-speed mop heads to scrub floors more thoroughly. It also has a suction force of 7,000Pa. This is much higher than the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra or Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omni, and it can remove pet hair and small dirt particles - as well as picking up spills and wet spots.
The mops are cleaned and dried at the base station each time they are used. This is a fantastic feature because it prevents the build-up of odours and mould in storage, and also makes the mop system a lot more efficient. This is a feature we haven't seen on other robot mop or vacuum models. It could be a great way to keep your home cleaner longer.
There are plenty of options, including the ability to schedule cleanings and change preferences. The app lets you define these preferences, or utilize the buttons on the device itself. The app is simple to use and has a lot of options to customize the cleaning routine, and there are a lot of functions that other robots don't include, such as the Clean Genius mode that automatically increases suction power whenever it detects dust particles instead of relying on a manual setting.
The L20 Ultra has a stylish design with a metallic-white-white finish that looks elegant and sophisticated. It's a bit heavier at 4kg than the other robots listed on this list but it's not too heavy. It feels solid and well-constructed. Mopping is well-designed, and the double rotating mop is a great choice for hard floors or in corners. They can also reach down to 2mm baseboards thanks to the MopExtend feature which is a nice feature.
